Will there be a PC version of GTA 6?
No date has been announced. Rockstar usually releases the PC version several months after consoles (as with GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2).
Who are the main characters in GTA 6?
Two playable protagonists: Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, a Bonnie-and-Clyde style criminal couple, in the fictional state of Leonida (inspired by Florida) and its flagship city, Vice City.

How much does GTA 6 cost?
No price has been confirmed by a source we can verify. Figures of $79.99 for the Standard edition and around $100 for the Ultimate circulate widely in reporting, but the one article we hold on GTA 6 pricing does not contain them — our own content check rates that entry a discrepancy. We will call the price confirmed the day a Rockstar or Take-Two statement says so.
Can I pre-order GTA 6 already?
Yes. Take-Two has described pre-orders as “exceptional and astonishing” while reaffirming the 19 November 2026 release date. Pre-orders for the limited-edition PS5 controllers opened separately, on 10 September 2026.
Is there a collector's edition or themed hardware?
PlayStation and Rockstar unveiled two limited-edition GTA 6 DualSense controllers in Vice City colours during a State of Play. Pre-orders opened on 10 September 2026 and they ship on 19 November, the game's release day.
What is “An Extended Look” on Netflix?
A Rockstar presentation broadcast on Netflix, running more than 20 minutes of GTA 6 footage. It showed that the map is about twice the size of GTA 5's, and that Rockstar considered four playable protagonists before settling on two.
Will GTA 6 run at 60 FPS?
Not at launch: GTA 6 is reported to run at 30 frames per second on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on release day. No 60 FPS mode has been announced. This comes from secondary reporting, not from a direct Rockstar statement.
Will there be a GTA Online 2, and when?
Not at launch. Take-Two has confirmed GTA 6 ships as a standalone single-player game, with the existing GTA Online still supported. A 2027 window and a 32-player format have both been reported, but Rockstar has confirmed neither.
Will GTA 6 have microtransactions?
Take-Two's CEO has stated that GTA 6 launches with no online mode and no microtransactions. That covers the release version only — nothing has been announced about a later multiplayer component.
Is the GTA 6 map really twice as big?
Rockstar has confirmed the state of Leonida is roughly three times the size of Red Dead Redemption 2's map, with Vice City about double Los Santos. Community reconstructions of leaked maps circulate, but they are not official.
What are the GTA 6 leaks, and can I trust them?
Leaked material has circulated widely. Take-Two has subpoenaed Microsoft, Discord and X to identify those responsible, and Rockstar detailed extensive anti-leak measures at a tribunal. We label leak-based entries as leaks, never as confirmed.
